Greece

2018/ 2019
Greece, a huge territory with 1,400 islands, so big that It cannot be explored in one trip. We started in 2017 with a week from Athens to the Saronic Gulf and the last few years, 2018/19, from Athens to the Cyclades over two weeks. All the islands are different, the coasts are varied and some of the beaches are nicer than in the Caribbean.
There are various ways to enjoy your trip here. Starting with lonely bays, medieval marvels to the party island of Mykonos and Ios. Sailing in Greece is extremely cheap, starting with food and ending with little or no port fees. What particularly impressed me was the passage of the Corinth Canal, hospitality and the food.

The trip was the classic in the land of the gods. We explored Aegina, Poros, Ermionis, the postcard-perfect town of Hydra and Spétses.
Unfortunately, we also felt the Corona restrictions, which was an advantage in one respect, as we had no problem getting a berth in the small ports. BUT what was frightening was that the restaurants/bars were closed or only sparsely visited. That's why we decided that the pantry on our Kat was not put into operation this year and so we supported the local localities. As always, we were very happy about our visit and the food was a dream. All in all, another very nice week with the hope that everything will return to normal next year.

Another cruise in Greece was scheduled and I was very happy.
The starting point for this three-week trip was Lefkas, an island in the Ionian Sea that is steeped in legend and steeped in history. A spectacular coastline awaits us with numerous islands such as Kefalonia, Ithaca and Zakynthos with the world-famous Smugglers' Bay. Greek culture, the cuisine and the nightlife of the Ionian coast complete this trip.
